Rob is a reliable, trustworthy contractor and I would highly recommend him. I would gladly work with him again in the future. Like with any construction project, there are sometimes pauses while waiting for subcontractors, materials, or scheduling around other jobs. In my experience, that’s simply the reality of the process. Rob was flexible with my preferences and always willing to listen throughout the project. When I requested changes, he was honest about the options and helped me make practical decisions that kept the project within budget. His subcontractors were also skilled, professional, and genuinely good people to work with. When unexpected issues came up, as they often do in older homes, Rob was excellent at troubleshooting and finding solutions that balanced quality, cost, and timing. I also appreciated being able to stay hands-on with design selections. I was able to choose and purchase many decorative elements myself (hardware, cornices, wood details, fixtures), which helped me maintain control of the style and sometimes secure deals. We’re very grateful to Rob and his team for helping create a warm, functional space with beautiful craftsmanship, and I’d gladly recommend him or speak with anyone interested in hearing about our experience.

Rob helped us renovate the kitchen in our 1950s ranch. He helped us maximize the small space, worked within our budget, and gave us a kit hen we loved. We'd work with Rob and his team for any future projects without hesitation.

The thought of remodeling our home came with an overwhelming sense of dread and anxiety. When we met Rob, our worries disappeared. From the beginning of the process, Rob worked closely and patiently with us to design a plan that we were completely satisfied with. When the work began, Rob's team of professionals worked diligently to see the job through to it's finish. Throughout the entire process, Rob was always available to discuss concerns and/or last minute modifications. Rob and his team simplified the process and even made it possible for us to live in our during construction, which for our large family, was absolutely necessary. Rob and his team completed our kitchen and bath renovations, as well as built an addition to give us more living space, an additional master bedroom w/ en suite, as well as a laundry room, closet space, and a half bath. We are extremely happy with the way Rob conducted business and completely satisfied with the finished product. Rob - if we did not tell you before, I will tell you again now - thank you for a job well done!

We are used RI Design Build for several different jobs ranging from kitchen to bathrooms. Very pleased with how each came out. The attention to detail and quality is top notch. Several examples throughout the project where RIDB was mindful of what we were looking for. Best example was while laying the floor tiles that we had selected, and some of the tiles in the box just weren't right for the look we were going for. They stopped the install, sent pictures so we could decide, and ultimately got more tiles to avoid the ones we didn't like. This slowed them down but was the right answer. Good communication throughout. This wasn't the cheapest bid that we received but the quality was worth it.

We had a great experience with RI Design Build. They renovated our kitchen with a quick timeline and quality work. We recommended Rob and his crew to our family member for a bathroom remodel and they were very pleased with his work, too.

After interviewing several contractors my girlfriend hired RI Design Build to build an addition and remodel her kitchen. The owner Rob was amazing to work with. He guided us through every aspect of the planning and buildout. We are both extremely happy with Rob, the finished product, and the incredible work his team did. We will definitely use him again for future projects and we highly recommend he and his professional team.

We contracted with RI Design & Build to completely transform our home in Narragansett. RI Design & Build were great to work with and we would recommend them to anyone undertaking a large addition & renovation project. We added an addition of a 3 bay tandem garage, room above, mudroom with a porch and deck. We also transformed our first floor to add a master bedroom suite and completely renovated kitchen. Complete new roof, siding, fascia & soffit boards completed the outside. Overall we are very pleased with how it came out. Rob and his team were open to suggestions and provided many of their own which was much appreciated as it was our first time ever renovating a home.
